How Belle Haven started, where we’re headed, and the people behind it.

We met in California and later moved to Minnesota. Katlynne’s background is in acting and modeling, where she found a love for hosting and bringing people together.

She went on to work under a wedding planner in California, where she learned what it really takes to set up and run a wedding, from backyard weddings to weddings in Beverly Hills.

Chris, a professional video editor, tagged along to help at a few weddings and fell in love with the industry. His favorite part is seeing each couple’s vision come to life, and helping create the memories they and their guests will have for the rest of their lives.

We started Belle Haven to be the people couples can hand their wedding day to, so they get to actually be at it. That’s what the name means to us: a beautiful day, and a place where you can rest easy while someone else handles the details.

A venue of our own

Our vision is a venue of our own, designed by people who know what a wedding day really takes. Every space would be thought through down to the finest detail, so the day runs beautifully, all wrapped in a fresh, unique design you won’t find anywhere else.

And it wouldn’t be the kind of venue that hands you the keys and disappears. We want to be part of your big day, so at every wedding we’ll be right there on the day, making sure everything goes off without a hitch, exactly the way you planned it.

The concept art here is one early glimpse. As the business grows and life happens, the look and style of the venue will grow and change with us. What won’t change is the heart of it: a venue that never overlooks the small details that make a wedding feel perfect.

Katlynne Christenson

Owner & Lead Coordinator/Planner

Katlynne is your main contact from the first intro call to the last dance. She worked under a wedding planner in California, where she learned what it really takes to set up and run a wedding, from backyard weddings to weddings in Beverly Hills. She builds your timeline and leads the team on the day.

Chris Miller

Owner & Technical Lead

Chris, a professional video editor, tagged along to help at a few weddings and fell in love with the industry. He runs logistics and setup, and built the Belle Haven Planner app so couples can keep all their wedding details organized and the Belle Haven team can execute every detail.

Mackenzie Mager

Operations Associate

Mackenzie is an optional extra set of hands for small to large weddings. From setup to day-of support, she jumps in wherever she’s needed to make sure the whole day runs smoothly.
